At workshops and throughout lessons, it is important to respect each other, to listen with open ears, and to honor the humanity of each individual we meet. Anyone violating these rules can be sanctioned or expelled from the workshop or lesson at my discretion.
Code of Conduct
(long version)
Participant Values
At all workshops and lessons, it’s important that we respect each other, listen with open ears, and honor the humanity of each individual we meet. Everyone has a different story and a different perspective, so it’s crucial that every participant brings a mindset of empathy and understanding, especially when someone’s viewpoint may be quite different from our own. There is always more we can learn about the world, about music, and about people.
I encourage participants to represent themselves authentically, and seeks to foster open, honest, and supportive discussions with a wide variety of other music learners.
Participants are encouraged to notify the organizers of behaviors that are inconsistent with the Code of Conduct.
